Join us on Saturday June 14th from 12:30-4 to grow your hand building skills in our sculptural and organic pinch and coiling workshop taught by Byori Seo!

In this workshop, Byori will demonstrate her unique coiling and pinching techniques, creating both sculptural and functional work that plays with texture and form. She will lead the class in making a personal, small- to mid-sized hand-built pot—demonstrating and discussing techniques that can be used to create sculptural work at any scale. The first 30 minutes of the workshop will be dedicated to an open discussion of materiality and craft philosophy—this segment is optional, and hands-on demonstrations will begin at 1 pm.

Participants need to bring their basic tool kit and a fresh chunk of the clay body of their choice to be used to craft their own sculptural pot during the workshop.
