Private Bookings

Class Overview

In our 90 minute Pottery 101 Workshops, you will be introduced to the basics of how to work with clay and how to throw on the pottery wheel! With hands on guidance from an instructor you will receive a step by step demonstration and then create a piece on the pottery wheel. Once you are done making your pot you will pick a glaze colour to have your piece finished with!

Our staff will trim (smooth and finish off) and fire the pot you make then glaze it in the colour of your choice before being fired once more. This process will take 4-5 weeks to finish after which you will receive an email to come pick up your creations!

Our private bookings run for 90 minutes and cost $85 plus GST per person!
Class sizes have a minimum of 6 participants and and a maximum of 11 participants as our teaching space has 11 wheels.

Private Booking Availability

Booking availability is limited to:
- Monday afternoons (11-4)
-Thursday & Friday afternoons (11 - 4)
- Saturday & Sunday all day (11-5)
Please note this can vary depending on other classes we have running. 

For private bookings we require you to reach out a minimum of 4 weeks before your desired date. We may be able to accommodate bookings with less notice however our availability will be limited.

Payment and Cancellation Policies

We require a deposit of half of the total cost to reserve your booking date and then require payment in full 5 days before your class.

We ask for at least 5 days notice to get a full refund.

FAQ’s

Can we bring food and drinks to have at our event?

Unfortunately we do not allow food or drink to be brought into the studio for consumption before, after or during the class. Due to the hazardous nature of clay dust, the studio is not a suitable place to have food and drink out. Luckily, we are located around number of other restaurants, cafes and taprooms!

When can I pick up my finished piece?
The finishing, glazing and firing process will take 4 -5 weeks, after which you will receive an email to come pick up your creations!
