In this workshop you will be introduced to the basics of how to work with clay and how to throw on the pottery wheel!

We begin this workshop with a full demonstration then go step by step through the throwing process with the class. We do our best to ensure each student creates a piece and aid in the creation steps when needed! Once you are done you will pick a glaze colour to have your piece finished with! We trim and fire your pots which will be ready for pick up 5-6 weeks later.

Masks are required during this class time.

Please note: The pot you make in this class will not be done and ready for pick up before Christmas.

All tools and materials are provided, just wear clothes you’re okay getting messy in (don’t worry, clay washes out) and a hair tie for longer hair. We recommend keeping your nails trimmed short. Classes can be anywhere between 80-105 minutes long.
